Other Ways to Support DKMS

DKMS is a charity dedicated to the fight against blood cancer and blood disorders. The organization
raises awareness, recruits blood stem cell donors, and provides people with a second chance at life.
DKMS has registered more than 11.8 million potential blood stem cell donors
worldwide, and over 100,000 people around the world have received a potentially lifesaving blood
stem cell donation through DKMS.
DKMS launched in the UK in 2013 and has registered over 980,000 blood stem celldonors to date, helping to give over 2,000 people a second chance at life.

How you can support DKMS:

Fundraising and Volunteering: You can also support DKMS by participating in fundraising activities
or volunteering. Visit www.dkms.org.uk to find out more.

Cost of Registration: It costs DKMS £40 to add each new potential lifesaver to the global blood stem
cell registry. This includes the swab kit, postage, world-leading genotyping, and recruitment costs.
DKMS does not charge donors a registration fee but welcomes contributions towards the costs.

Other Volunteering Options:
DKMS also has a pool of volunteers who support events as required with volunteer hubs around the country which people can join to volunteer more regularly.
To register to become a volunteer for the regular in-person events please visit the DKMS website : https://www.dkms.org.uk/
