About us

Swab to Save a Child is a one-day charity event in the UK on Sunday 17th September 2023 during Children's Cancer Awareness Month.
Our campaign is a series of in-person events where people can attend to join the bone marrow register and potentially become someone's life-saving match in under 15 minutes, through a simple mouth swab.
Championed by a group of mothers whose children received a life-threatening diagnosis of leukemia or bone marrow failure, our mission is to make a positive impact on the lives of children in need and to find a life-saving match for some of the 2,000 children and adults every year who need a bone marrow transplant to have a second chance at life.  Through our dedicated efforts, we aim to raise awareness to support organisations that provide life-saving treatments and support to children facing serious illnesses.
